For Vans Dominican Republic, we developed the visual identity for a delivery vehicle designed to do more than transport merchandise, it needed to be instantly recognizable, memorable, and fully aligned with the brand’s global DNA.

The objective: Transform a functional asset into a moving brand experience.

Inspired by Vans’ iconic Checkerboard Day, we built a visual system that blends the brand’s unmistakable aesthetic with elements rooted in Dominican culture. Through a custom illustration approach, we integrated local landmarks, urban scenes, and cultural references, creating a narrative that feels both authentic and connected to the environment where the brand lives.

 

The composition balances global consistency with local relevance.
Bold black-and-white graphics, rhythmic patterns, and detailed illustrations give the vehicle a strong visual presence, while the storytelling elements create familiarity and emotional connection across the streets it moves through.

 

Every detail was designed to ensure the van doesn’t go unnoticed, it becomes part of the landscape, a recognizable extension of the Vans identity within the country.

 

The result is not just a branded vehicle, but a mobile canvas that represents culture, movement, and brand expression in motion.
